Additionally, the revival of the police school liaison program is on the agenda. The ABC party advocates for a VPD graffiti abatement initiative and proposes the implementation of body cameras for police officers on patrol.
Addressing the concerning surge in hate crimes, particularly those targeting the Asian, Semitic, and Indigenous communities, Sim’s party vows to establish a dedicated task force to tackle these issues head-on.
