Is flooding a consideration in Crescent Beach?

It's worth checking. Crescent Beach is low-lying at the mouth of the Nicomekl. The City approved a Coastal Flood Adaptation Strategy in 2019. Under its Crescent Beach Utility Improvements (Phases 1–3 completed by May 2025), the City reports that about 70% of properties now have a storm sewer fronting or flanking them, and it's studying drainage options for the rest. Which secondary school serves Crescent Beach and Ocean Park?

Every address I checked in Crescent Beach and western Ocean Park returned Elgin Park Secondary. An address on 140 Street returned Semiahmoo Secondary. Always check the specific address.
