Sardis and Vedder: Sardis South, Sardis East Vedder, Sardis West Vedder, Vedder Crossing, Garrison Crossing. Yarrow, Greendale, Rosedale and farmland areas: Yarrow, Greendale, Rosedale, West Chilliwack, East Chilliwack. Hillsides and upland: Chilliwack Mountain, Little Mountain, Eastern Hillsides, Promontory, Vedder Mountain, Majuba Hill, Ryder Lake. The City of Chilliwack publishes no boundary for the Chilliwack MLS® sub-areas these guides cover, and I found no official boundary for the areas outside the City. They are MLS® sub-area or community names, so each guide gives the closest official description and places facts by address.
Popkum, Bridal Falls, Columbia Valley, Cultus Lake, Chilliwack River Valley. They are in Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) electoral areas, so each guide uses FVRD sources and names the FVRD area. Cultus Lake Park also has its own Park Board.
ALR status is set parcel by parcel, so check the exact address on the Agricultural Land Commission map. The City says about two-thirds of Chilliwack’s land is in the Agricultural Land Reserve, and each guide says what it found for its area.
Parts of Chilliwack are on the Fraser River floodplain and are protected by the City’s dyke system. Each guide has flood notes from official sources for its area. Ask me or the City about a specific lot.
Chilliwack’s public schools are run by School District 33 (SD33). Catchments are set by address, so confirm an exact address with SD33. Each guide lists the schools I found for its area.
