Here are the townhomes for sale across the City of Langley and the Township of Langley, at any price. If a detached house is out of reach, a townhome is worth a look.
You'll find townhomes in both the Township and Langley City. The Township plans each growing area through its community and neighbourhood plans page, and those plans say where townhouses can go. In June 2026 it rewrote the Willoughby plans, folding five older neighbourhood plans into one corridor plan along 200 Street. Yorkson, Smith and Williams kept their own plans.
In Langley City, the Official Community Plan puts townhomes, duplexes, triplexes and fourplexes along future frequent bus routes on 200 Street and 208 Street, and in parts south of the Nicomekl River. That area is called Ground-Oriented Residential, and it's capped at about 1.2 times the lot area in floor space.
The gap is real. In September 2026 FVREB put the Langley townhouse benchmark at $802,600 and the detached benchmark at $1,471,100. For many buyers, that difference is the whole decision. That gap is why many people look at townhomes first.
I grew up in Langley, and my advice is simple: tour a few complexes before you decide a townhome is or isn't for you. They vary more than you'd think.
The Surrey Langley SkyTrain extension will end at Langley City Centre Station near 203 Street and Industrial Avenue, with another stop at Willowbrook, 196 Street and Fraser Highway. The Province says the average trip from Langley City Centre to King George Station will be 22 minutes. If you commute toward Surrey or Vancouver, it's worth asking how far a complex is from those two stops.
Every townhouse complex is run by a strata corporation. Under B.C. rules, any strata with five or more lots has to get a depreciation report every five years, so ask for the latest one.
Also ask for the Form B. It shows the monthly fee, any special levies already approved, and summaries of the strata's insurance. I read these with you line by line before you commit.
FVREB reports the City and the Township as one Langley area. The townhouse benchmark was $802,600 in September 2026, 4.4% below a year earlier. The median townhouse sale was $795,000, with 61 sales and 283 active listings at the end of the month. Source: FVREB Statistics Package, September 2026.
Langley City and the Township both belong to the Langley School District (SD35). The district groups its schools in school family groups, and catchments follow the address, so check before you count on a school.
