Planning and heritage in Murrayville

Murrayville has its own community plan and a heritage conservation area, so check the rules for the exact lot.

  • The Murrayville Community Plan (Bylaw No. 2661) was adopted by Council on April 17, 1989.
  • Murray’s Corner, a five-corner intersection, is central to a heritage conservation area.
  • The Township’s OCP update includes draft directions for a community plan covering Aldergrove, Fort Langley, Murrayville, Northwest Langley and Walnut Grove.
  • The “South of Murrayville” aquifer (Aquifer 51) is one of three aquifers where most of the Township’s flowing artesian wells are found. A provincial advisory covers flowing wells in the Township.
