Planning in central Abbotsford

Central Abbotsford has three of the City’s four neighbourhood plans.

  • The City Centre Neighbourhood Plan (Bylaw 2913-2019) aims for a more populated, walkable neighbourhood at the heart of the urban area.
  • The Historic Downtown Neighbourhood Plan (Bylaw 2920-2019) values the area’s heritage and small, independent businesses.
  • The UDistrict Neighbourhood Plan covers 365 acres around the UFV campus and was adopted in May 2018.
