Whalley is an MLS® area in North Surrey. The City says the Whalley community is in the northwest corner of Surrey, with the Fraser River on its north and west sides and much of its east edge on 144 Street. It surrounds City Centre. The name comes from Arthur Whalley, who settled near King George Boulevard and 108 Avenue in 1925. On the MLS® map, the Whalley area includes City Centre and runs from about 132 Street east to about 144 Street, and from about 96 Avenue north to near 108 Avenue.
